Within 48 hours of your admission, you and anyone in your family you choose can participate in your first care plan meeting with our professional staff. This meeting is to customize your care. In this meeting we determine your health care goals, therapy goals (if applicable), wound care (if applicable), dietary services, showering and bathing, activities and much more.

We realize that not every one has a 9 to 5 schedule. That’s why you are permitted to visit your loved one 24 hours a day; however, we do prefer that you visit during day hours to insure your loved one get adequate rest to recover.

Our full-service beauty shop is on site. Do you need a cut, color, or perm? No problem! You won’t have to go very far to look like a million bucks again.

Our on-site Therapy Services will help you get stronger faster. With state-of-the-art equipment and a wide arrange of therapy solutions, our experienced team is dedicated to developing a tailored plan with your doctor for all your needs. Most facilities offer contract therapy services, but we built therapy into everything we do to keep you healthy, strong and moving! Whether you’re needed Physical, Occupational, Speech or Restorative Therapy, we’ve got you covered.

It’s very important for residents to have plenty to do during the day during their stay with us. Bingo, music concerts, arts & crafts – the list goes on and on. We schedule many events each day for our residents and encourage participation. A list of this month’s scheduled activities is posted in our lobby or a copy can be requested so that you can enjoy them with your loved one.

If you need to arrange transportation to a doctor’s appointment or dialysis, we can assist you. Our administrative offices will work between you and your appointment to make sure you get there safely.

We offer free cable to all resident! Enjoy over 60 channels of your favorite television shows. If you are a skilled nursing patients, we have a television ready for you. No need to bring one from home. If you are a long term care patient, you are welcome to bring in your own!

We have Certified Wound Nurses on site! If you are recovering from an accident or surgery and have a wound, you’ll need expert care. Our Certified Wound Nurses and Wound Physician have access to all the latest wound equipment for your specific needs.

No need to worry about how to keep clean clothes in the facility – we take care of that for you! We recommend you bring three or four comfy outfits than you can easily take on or off, along with a robe, underwear, non-skid socks and maybe a sweater or two if you get cold. Emerald will provide sheets, pillowcase and towels.
